The contact owns a 2011 Ford F350 with Continental Contitrac tires, line size LP275/65R18. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph the front passenger tire blew out after tired tread separated causing the vehicle to crash into a tree. No injuries were reported and a police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 28,000....updated 10/17/12 the consumer stated ten miles before the front passenger tire blew out, the front driver's side tire tread separated and was replaced with a spare tire. The pick up (2011) and the fifth wheel trailer (2012) that it was towing were both totaled. The driver had minor neck injury. Both the driver and passenger had minor cuts from the passenger window which broke. Updated 10/17/2012
