I have received a recall but no parts have been sent to dealership. Dealership said I have to wait for a letter stating the part is in. That is wrong on all parties. If there is injury caused in my vehicle I will not rest until someone is held accountable. Takata should be making sure the parts are available there problem they need to fix it.

Takata airbags - we got a recall notice last July from Ford about these dangerous takata airbags. I have been calling all three Ford dealers in the fort worth Texas area for the past four months about these airbags. I get the same answer over and over "we don't have the parts". meanwhile we are forced to drive around in this extremely dangerous vehicle. Why can't they put airbags from the new cars into our defective cars?

I received a letter stating that there was a recall on my car due to the passenger air bag but the parts to replace it are not in, I want to disable the air bag to avoid possible injury until it can be fixed but the dealership will not do this until the company will authorize it. The recall describes personal injury or possible death as a result of the defect. I do not want to drive my car and if I am injured or die as a result of this....my family will sue the heck out of the company and the Agency overseeing the industry. Just give dealerships the permission to deactivate the passenger side air bags so we don't have to ride around with miniature ieds in our dashboards or compensate us for rental cars.

Takata inflators I am trying to remedy a recall on my vehicle and have been told by the dealership in which I bought my car that I am unable to do so because the manufacturer is not providing the needed equipment or parts. In the recall description it says that if the airbag deploys the passengers could be killed, how am I supposed to feel comfortable driving myself or my young son around in a vehicle with such issues? plus, apparently this was first an issue back in July of 2016, so I am not exactly sure why there isn't a solution to this issue yet.

Passenger side, dash board air bag panel is bulging abd separating. Ford states not a recall and not covered by extended warranty. I googled the problem and it seems like hundreds of people have same issues. How is this not a recall"! is my car safe to drive like this? will airbag pop out for no reason? will I work upon impact" I don't have spare money to fix (reason I bought an extended warranty). Very dissatisfied with Ford.

"taking recall" I have a Ford Fusion effected in this recall I'm being forced to stop working in transportation because I can't pass transportation safety inspection for commercial use. I don't have the means to buy another car and no one will help me because the parts don't exist yet. By law if they can not fix it shouldn't they have to replace the vehicle. So now I can't provide for my family !
