This is a Ford Fusion problem that the dealer tries to avoid. I bought a 2013 Ford Fusion with 25,000 miles (Wayne Akers Lake Worth FL) showed me the carfax that a new engine was replaced at 15,000 miles. I am in dispute as per the warranty as I traded in a new Ford Focus from them that had the tranny replaced twice in 6500 miles.
They offered me a 7 year, 70,000 warranty in order to stop me filing a lemon law lawsuit ( just to let you know this ford focus was no 2 the first one died after 400 and this was a new replacement. So this Fusion was to make me happy. Almost a year went by and Wayne Akers refused to address a transmission problem as I was told their workshop was overloaded with transmission problems this went on and on, always worming themselves out of it.
Their customer relations man would testify that what I wrote is true.
