When the car hits a bump it jerks sideways.

First noticed this when driving 70 to 75 MPH on a freeway. There were bumps where they had repaired joints in the road. It felt like the back end was jumping to the left, but after I was not sure if the back was jumping to the left or if it was the front jumping to the left or both ends jumping to the left. It seemed like it was the back end. On a rough two lane road I noticed the car jumping to the left on the bumps. It was very uncomfortable and scary as I did not know where the car would go to if I hit bumps in sequence (wash board). Cars usually bounce up in a straight line, not jump to the side. I am afraid to drive this car on bumpy roads.

I took the car to my Ford dealer and told them exactly what was wrong, I also typed out a letter saying what my concern was. When I picked up the car the work order said that they had checked for a “clunk in the rear when hitting bump” and said nothing was wrong. Again they did not fix my problem.
