Upon natural speed loss and increased effort depressing the brake pedal, the contact was able to pull to the shoulder of the roadway and bring the vehicle to a complete stop. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the brake caliper, resulting in abnormal wear and tear on the rear passenger-??s side brake pad.
