I was driving my 2016 Ford fushion the breaks hit the floor and wouldn't break any more I was around the corner from discount tire and service center and took the car to get serviced on 08/12/2020 they found all the fluid was out and the left brake hose was leaking they serviced my car replaced the hose refilled the fluid and returned my car the next day on 09/18/20 my brake pedal hit the floor again luckily I was parked as I tried to reverse I noticed the brake pedal wasn't working I couldn't drive the car nomore I had to call a tow truck. I took again to discount tire center and they noticed my right hose had popped they stated there is no reason why they should be leaking or coming off on such a new car it's a 2016 Ford fushion I'm concerned for my safety I'm scared to drive the vechile I've read a lot of complaints saying people have got into car crashes because of brake problems with the Ford fushion I've been very blessed I don't want nothing else to happen to me or anyone else on the road. Ford needs to take action into this problem this is a serious problem we are talking about innocent life's I've been lucky to have this problem and not crashing into anybody let's stand together and take action if you have any problems with your Ford fushion speak up! I'm going to look into everything I can do I'm worried for my safety I hope this does not happen again.

As I was driving my car locked up and I had to hard break. I took it into the shop and they said it was a wiring issue and not covered under warranty. They couldn't explain why it would happen and suggested I placed something heavy on my passenger dash. It sounds similar to another recall I saw but my car is not listed as needing that.

Husband was driving home and the brakes stopped working. He barley missed hitting a car. Was able to put all his might to stop the car. Took it in and it's a bad brake booster. Have taken this car in for multiple issues. Ford will allow their consumers to die before doing anything to fix the problem.. taking all new sedans off production doesn't fix the cars already on the road! my husband could have died.. he is still very shook about what happened and didn't think he was going to be able to stop.

When I first received my car, a few weeks later I tried to stop my car at a upcoming traffic light and it failed to stop which caused a 3 car collision. I took it to Ford and had it serviced with a good bit of damage and asked that they please look at brakes because it didn't stop correctly. When I received car back assumed they checked brakes and it was ok. Got into a spin out on the highway at another time when I tried to break my car. Went to the hospital was pregnant and hurt my back. Then, kept hearing a horrible noise coming from my breaks for a while, kept putting brake fluid in thinking that was it. One day decided to look at my wheels and the rims on both my back tires are black. I assumed it was from break dust and rubbing. At this point when I stop my car the car doesn't stop immediately. In order to stop the car you have to slam the pedal to the ground and begin stopping early, and be very careful while driving. Took it to a mechanic and bought the parts. The mechnic began doing the work and came to me and said what I believe is the rotor is worn completely off, there is parts missing on the brake and it was put together incorrectly. I am highly pissed as I am financing this car, haven't driven it in months now because it's undrivable. Very unsafe to drive and all because it wasn't put together correctly, more charges are being slapped on because of the damage. Have got in to accidents, been put in danger and have been asking about my brakes since I got my car. I'm paying for a car I can't drive. Since I got the car the majority of the time it's sat because I am very afraid to operate the vehicle especially in rain and snow.

Vehicle in motion. After 40mph, service advancetrac lights on dash. ABS is activated even though on dry ground. Brake pedal becomes hard and drops about 50%. stopping distance dramatically increased. Pedal pulsates under my foot. Traction control turned off. Hill assist turned off. This continues to happen every time I drive the car since mid November, 2018. The defective part is the tone ring, which is part of the wheel bearing and is very expensive to repair. Ford will do nothing about it even though there is no problem at all with the tone ring. The electrical problem is the harness that the wheel speed sensor plugs into on the left front wheel. The yellow wire has a hole in it and corrodes. Ford is also aware of this problem but refuses to do anything about it.

Takata recall- I had on previous Ford Fusion. Tires, stability, wipers, ripped into I just bought two new tires August 2018. The car is under 9,000. Miles! the red one previous was 10, ooo, miles when I had to turn in lease, and pressured by a salesman. Plus they put on extra packages, and when I called, I said take it off, etc... they did not! I had trouble turning car at times(both) they have run off the road because of tires and other things. It was highway driving. Always.

The stoplight switch, which turns on and off the brake lights, is activated by a rubber grommet/bushing/pad which is inserted into a hole on the brake arm assembly. Over time, this part deteriorated and broke into little pieces and fell out of place. Without it in place, the stoplight switch does not function properly, and the brake lights are constantly on. The vehicle is only 2 years old and has less than 40,000 miles on it. It is unknown when this occurred, however it was noticed when the vehicle was parked. Further yet, Ford does not offer this bumper as a spare part, nor do they even know the part number, forcing me to retrofit the vehicle with an aftermarket part. I would assume the thickness of the pad is critical to reliable brake light operation, so I will be forced to make a risky modification.

ABS lights, traction control lights, throttle body control lights, air bag lights, emergency break lights, rear right break lights all come on my dash, it is at random times, first starting the car up, driving it for 2 minutes or even up to 10-12 minutes. Speed, weather or making a turn or just going straight does not matter. Warning lights can go off every day multiple times or as lttle as once a week. You can feel the streeting get very tight, its hard to even make a turn which is not very safe. Had my vehilce in the shop for 25 days straight. Was told the issues were fixed and withint 7 hours of picking my car up all the same lights came on.

When driving car & using brakes pedal will go part way to floor without having any brakes work & dash warning lights will come on that include hill star assist, check rear park aid, service advance trac, ABS light & air bag light... I have had complete brake failure twice at slow speed so was able to coast car to a stop without having possibly a serious accident. I have had car at 2 dealerships trying to get car fixed... they have replaced brake lines & speed sensor with no good results. They will write down on work order that customer states this is a problem & that they will test drive it & be unable to verify concern. Thus returning car to me. I bought car with approximately 23,000 miles & now at 87,000 with problem happening every time I drive it. Also having other problems with car but this one is very serious.

After coming to a stop on our highway ramp. I had intended to make a right turn. Before I took my foot off the brake my car accelerated causing my back tires to lock and screech. I was unable to turn the steering wheel toward the right so that I could remain on the two lane road. My car pulled to the left and I slammed into the medium. My car came to a complete stop but was still running. I turned off the medium and continued home. Shortly after I heard thumping noise followed by louder thumping and my entire dash board lit except for the check engine light and the wrench. I pulled my car to the side to find I had two blown front tires, my bumper was broken and my driver side back tire went flat waiting on a tow. All my years driving I have never experienced an unintentional acceleration of a vehicle and pray that myself or granddaughter never have to again.
