Mustang Anniversary Edition 6 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 79,311 miles

My wife and I enjoy traveling and two years ago we were taking a trip in the mustang and for no apparent reason the passenger side door came unlatched. It's happened a few times since then. I took it to the dealership last year and they said it would cost me. I didn't have it repaired and I made a mental note to follow up with the dealer. Several weeks ago I got a recall letter from Ford telling me it was a repair they were wanting to do so that was good. Otherwise it's a pretty good car, with a few problems I'm getting taken care of.

Thanks for being here!

Mustang GT 5.0L

  • Manual transmission
  • 38,000 miles

door latch opens by itself

The passenger door would fall off the primary latch intermittently. When it did, the window drops 1/4 inch since it's a convertible. This is surprising to the driver and shocking to the passenger.
