Bought a brand new 2015 Mustang, but wanted Nav. The ones on the lot didn't have Nav installed but they said, no problem, we can install it later. 2 weeks to get the module in, what was supposed to be a 2hr install, turned into 8hrs. Ended up late for work. Then find out that the Nav they installed was no better than if I had bought a Garmin handheld & used that. Actually, it was more like having an atlas that someone drew a line on. The Nav would not work with Sync. If you missed a turn, it would not recalculate, it would just continue like nothing happened. You would have to stop, re-enter the destination, then wait again while the Nav unit downloaded the directions again. All this time, you could not use Sync correctly, half the functions would be disabled. And to get out of Nav was a 10 step process. It ended up causing problems with Sync, even when it wasn't being used. The only reason I bought the vehicle, was because I was promised Nav that worked with Sync.

Ended up having to return the car to the dealership, and they replaced it with another new Mustang with the Nav unit already installed. Kudos to the DEALERSHIP FOR REPLACING THE VEHICLE and for taking care of the customer where FORD WOULD NOT. And the Nav unit instructions, on one page, near the back of the book. Tiny little words says it doesn't connect with Sync. Ford denied the problem, and their database couldn't even get my vehicle right. Their phone rep ARGUED with me about what model and engine I had. Would deal with the dealership again, but not sure I would ever buy a FORD again.
