Mustang Shelby GT350 5.2L V8

  • Manual transmission
  • 50 miles

I bough this vehicle 07-08-17, at McComb Ford West in San Antonio, Texas off the showroom floor. This is actually the SECOND Shelby I bought from them off the showroom floor. About a week later, I had to bring it back because the AC stopped working. While my salesman was in the process of getting me a loaner, it was taken to the service department and the AC was fixed. My mistake for not asking what was wrong, but who would expect issues from a new Shelby straight off the showroom floor.

May 2018 was the first time I heard this strange noise upon startup that sound like something was caught in the fan. At first I thought I didn't have it all the way in gear, so I'd turn it off and start it up and there was no sound. Since I don't drive it that often I didn't really start noticing it until June and at this time I've had it LESS that a year. I began taking videos of it and took it back to the dealership where I bought it. They had my vehicle for FIVE days and all they could come up with is that it was low on oil, which I don't believe is what's causing that sound. And apparently they came up with that because their computer didn't indicate anything was wrong. I was told they changed the oil, drove it and it's not making that noise. This is on 07-02-18. I have a video on THE SAME DAY of my car making the SAME NOISE they claimed they fixed!!

I contacted Ford and told them it was still doing the same thing, but giving them the benefit of the doubt, I was going to give it a few days and see what happens. Well it never stopped and when I checked the oil about three weeks after they did an oil change, there was NO oil on the dipstick. I immediately took it back to the dealership and this time I was told they were going to do an oil rate consumption check on it and bring it back in 1,000 miles. By now I'm pissed because I'm not paying 70+ for a "topnotch" vehicle and having all these issues and the people who sold it to me can't even fix it.

So I contacted Ford and told them what was going and all of the problems I'm having with this vehicle and they created a work order for one of the service managers that is supposed to handle this issue. I was supposed to go on Wednesday but it's back in the shop because the AC WENT OUT AGAIN!!!!!!!
