The contact owns a 2016 Honda CR-V. while pulling into a parking spot at 3 mph, the brake pedal depressed completely to the floorboard. The vehicle crashed into a concrete wall without warning. When the contact turned off and restarted the vehicle, the brake indicator illuminated and the brake pedal depressed to the floor again. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,552. Updated 11/07/16 the consumer sold the vehicle back to the dealer as a trade in on another vehicle.
