Entire system failure occurred while driving on a 4-lane interstate at speeds of 70 mph in congested traffic in air temps of 80 F (sunny). Vehicle lost all power both electrical / mechanical for roughly four to five seconds. There was immediate deacceleration and zero power (electrical / mechanical). Driver's immediate response was to remove hands from steering wheel and removed foot from gas in a state of shock/disbelief. Vehicle then restarted itself and resumed function. Driver was put at extreme risk as well as all other drivers / vehicles in surrounding roadway due to the extreme deacceleration with no warning. Incident reported to dealer who stated they had not heard of such an occurrence and requested vehicle be brought in for a $120 diagnostic check. Vehicle purchased new. Mileage at time of incident 20,000.

I have a 2017 Honda CRV with 1.5 turbo with only 89,651 miles. When we started the vehicle every warning light on the dash was on, including parking brake, lane departure, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist. So we didn't know if it was safe to even drive the car home. So I had to have a family member bring a code reader so i I could see if we could drive it home. It only had 3 codes, P0302 Cylinder 2 Misfire Dtc severity 2 of 3, P0302 cylinder 2 Misfire detected and another P0302 cylinder misfire. Had no codes of all the warning lights that were flashing on the dash. I cleared the codes with the code reader and all warning lights went off. So we drove it home. The next day we sent it to a Honda dealer and they performed a software update and a air-fuel test on all 4 cylinders. The vehicle did fail air-fuel test. The Honda dealer recommends new fuel injectors at a cost of $ $1264. I feel there is a defect in the fuel injectors if they only lasted 89,650 miles. Also Honda might have a software problem if bad fuel injectors makes all the warning lights go on.

My 2017 Honda CRV has 89K mileage on it, while driving the car on 05/13/2021 all the safety and other sensor stop working. Took it to the dealer and they are telling me the fuel injectors are bad and they have to replace all at once. I looked online and multiple persons are having the same problem with their 2017 CRV anywhere from 34K to 90K mileage

On the way down from grapevine along I-5, warning lights showed on my dashboard, e.g. tire pressure monitor problem, emission system problem, brake system problem, etc..., I panic and exited the freeway. I opened the hood to cool the engine. After about an hour, I restarted the engine and the warning lights disappeared so I continued my travel. However, after about 40 miles, the warning lights came up again. So, I exited the freeway again. We called service dealer in bakersfield and based on our report he said the computer may not be talking with other parts. He asked us to bring it in. But this dealer is some 30 miles away and it's too far from home. I restarted the engine again and the warning lights went away after the engine has cooled down. So I went back to the freeway driving slowly and carefully until there was a slower truck in front of me. I tried to overtake the truck then I felt like something snapped, the same warning lights came out and I can feel the engine was losing power so I parked on the side and decided to have the car towed since it can stall in the middle of the road putting our lives in danger. When the car was towed to the Honda dealer close to home, it was diagnosed as initially fuel pump problem with an estimated cost of about $2,000. But the parts will take about a week to ship due to hazard issues. They offer to buy back our car but at only half the price that we bought it. It's almost four years old.

1st owner 2017 CRV with 51000. Driving down highway. Check engine and all safety assist failure. Drive for a few days and light reset. Few more days and again this happens and engine also looses power. (have newborn in the care and 3 year old).obd reader displays codes P0304 and P0172. Take it to the dealer and reprogram the computer as their is extended warranty on oil dilution problem. Re-test and 4th fuel injector faulty. Not covered by power train warranty. I call Honda and they are trying to "goodwill" part of the $1500 cost rather admitting that there is a fuel injector issue like on other models. Could of ended in a major car accident with children! very disappointed in Honda.

I scan the check engine light with obd scanner and its shows P219F code. I search on google and its come to this description. When a code P219F is stored, it means that the powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an imbalance error in the number four cylinder. To monitor the air to fuel ratio for each cylinder of the engine, the PCM uses data input from heated exhaust oxygen sensors (sometimes called air fuel sensors) and the crankshaft position (ckp) and camshaft position (cmp) sensors. I saw online and lots of people has same problem in Honda CRV 2017-18 model. I already reported problem before with Honda but get standard reply.

1:L.S suspension is making clunky noise for long time.this problem was on and off but now its continuously making noise while I drive to a bumpy or small broken road. 2:engine was making roaring noise then I follow up with dealer with my recall notice. I don't know they fix it or not but still making this noise. 3:smell solid fuel/gasoline from the exhaust system.full tank gas giving me only 178 miles range but I'm not able to drive 150 miles even.I always take the silver gasoline which is $38 dollars for the full tank.sometimes more and more this is the biggest problem of car and my financial. I think my fuel is leaking and this could be something else. Credit karma showing me I have 3 open recalls which is one of them. But I didn't receive any mail any email or notification from them.

The contact owns a 2017 Honda CR-V. the contact was driving less then 20 mph when the vehicle failed to accelerate. The low power warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that an oil burning odor was detected. The contact's husband changed the oil on 3/3/21 and noticed the vehicle was leaking oil a quart over fuel and had gasoline in the oil. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnosis. The manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. The local dealer was notified and the contact was told to bring the vehicle in to schedule a recall repair appointment. The contact stated she can not take the vehicle in at the moment because she just changed the oil. The contact felt the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The failure mileage was 27,400.

All the warning lights came on after engine start eg, check engine light, power steering failure, driver assist, etc. It was every light. I took it to Honda in was diag. With PO172 engine runs rich. Honda bullentin 19-032 was perform which included replacing the A/C control unit and software update. After one month and less than another 1000 milers driven I have the same problem. The dealership says my fuel injectors need to be replaced for $1400. The car has 38000 miles on it and just came off warranty. This is a known problem and apparently happens in colder climates but I lived in ga. Completely unacceptable

Oil levels in car are above the dipstick and smell like petroleum has leaked into the oil. The fix that Honda introduced for the oil dilution issue has clearly not worked. Inside of car has a petroleum smell. Makes me lightheaded/dizzy. I had to pull over on the side of the highway - stop the car and air it out. There was not accident, but this continue issue can cause a major problem while driving including accident, injury and death.

All dash light warnings come on the car sometimes while driving and sometimes while idling. We have brought the car to Honda dealership 4 times and they fix a different problem every time but the problem persists. Now they are telling me it's the fuel injectors that need to be replaced. The car is out of warranty so I was be out of pocket $1200. Quick internet search shows this as a common problem on all Honda's including the fit and Pilot from 2016,2017 and now 2018 but they have yet to address the issue. I am relevant to pay for fuel injectors only to have more issues. And if it is the fuel injectors they should not be failing on a 3 year old car with 50K miles. Where's the recall or an extended warranty for fuel injectors? the is a major safety concern.

Code P0172 appeared. Honda replace A/C control module with no charge under bulletin 19-032. Honda stated "if the code comes back on they will need to replace injectors as well." The code came back in a month but now they say its off warranty and I will have to pay $1507.08 for injector replacement. They should have replaced the injectors from the start.

My vehicle, a 2017 Honda CRV ex-L has a 1.5 liter turbo engine with approximately 148,000 miles on it. It has been meticulously maintained with regular fluid and oil changes. Several days ago my CRV began lurching with a misfire, first the power was greatly reduced and then the engine lost all power and a check engine light and then all warning lights came on. I have on occasion smelled a gas type smell in the passenger compartment. A friend has a obd11 reader and my engine showed a P 0304 code which is a cylinder 4 misfire and a P 2097 code which is a post catalytic converter too rich warning. I had the vehicle towed to lute riley Honda in richardson, tx and a warranty service was performed that I understand is a resetting of engine codes and a HVAC control unit was replaced. Upon picking the vehicle up after driving just a few miles the engine lurching returned and ultimately the engine light came on and power was reduced to about 10 miles per hour. This happened in an intersection and was extremely dangerous, luckily I was able to pull off and stop the engine. After waiting a few minutes I restarted the engine and with no engine light on drove very slowly to my home. I plan on taking the vehicle back to the dealer in the morning.

Gas tank filler has a metal door approx 3 inches down filler tube that isn?T sealing, garage smells of strong gas smell. Vehicle is under warranty but deal refuses to fix. Dealer claims customer must have driven off with gas hose still in tank. This is not true, been difficult to get gas into vehicle almost since it was new, vehicle only has 8,000 miles. Complained to dealer, complained to manufacture, nobody cares. Suspect fire danger.

Ever since the car was new, when turning a corner on city intersections, the vehicle would hesitate, intermittently. I've been at the dealer, and they tell me there is nothing wrong. Recently I read about a recall of CRV's for a fuel pump problem. Not being a mechanic, this sounds like my problem. Unfortunately, Honda does not have this recall on their website. Any guidance you can give will be most welcome. Sincerely, [xxx]. information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

We repeatably have the smell of gas in the car (tubo-charged CRV) and in my garage after filling the gas tank. I've seen no leakage on the garage floor but the smell of gas is overwhelming. Likewise it is a sickening smell in the car. I think this is a tremendous safety issue since I have a gas fired furnace and hot water heater in the garage - I open the garage door to air it out for fear of a fire. I understand that Honda has been looking into the gas smell issue but no recall has been issued. For safety sake when is something going to be done?
