The car shut off while driving 70 mph on the interstate. The vehicle notification bell sounded 3 times (same bell as if your seat belt is unbuckled), then the warning light in the dash came on "Start/Stop Button is pressed" and then the vehicle lost all power at on the interstate. I had to coast the vehicle with no power steering or power brakes to the side of the road. Potentially disastrous situation. This has happened 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Each time the vehicle would crank right back up and run as if nothing ever happened with no further warnings until the next shut off while driving.

Vehicle also shut off while idling at a traffic light, same sympton, Bell, warning light. Immediate shut down of vehicle. then crank back up.

Took the vehicle to a Jaguar dealership. The dealership diagnosed the issue as a faulty internal shifter and a keyless vehicle module fault. They replaced both at a cost of $1500.00

I picked the vehicle up and drove 15 minutes on the highway at 65 mphs, and the same problem, Bell, warning light, shut off. Unbelievable frustration set in. The vehicle is back at the dealer for further diagnosis. anyone else experience anything like this? any thoughts on root cause of this issue?
