MAZDA3 Grand Touring Hatchback 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 68,000 miles

Listening to music all of the sudden there was loud popping sounds coming from the speakers. Turned the power off to the stereo and the speakers were still popping. after that there was no sound at all. I turned the stereo back on , there was power but no sound. I read on a few forums that this was also a common Problem. I called the dealer , they wanted 700.00 to fix. I then called Bose explained the problem and they sent me a new one. The amp is located under the passenger seat with a couple of bolts and contacts. I just needed to send them my old one first

I have a 2011 Mazda 3 with the factory Bose Stereo, never modded. Out of nowhere this awful sub pop noise comes in and won't go away. Now how do I get my stereo back with out the pop noise ? I went to two audio places and Mazda dealer, they all said the same...NEED A NEW AMPLIFIER.
