MAZDA3 Grand ITouring 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 11,000 miles

Dropped about 3-4 MPG. Thought it might be bad gas so I waited to take to the dealer to run another tank or two to find out for sure. Infotainment system still not working properly no fix in sight from Mazda.

Update from Jun 19, 2015: Waited 3 weeks and changed gas stations and brands but MPG kept dropping.

Update from Jun 19, 2015: Waited 3 weeks tried different gas stations and different brands with no positive results. Took it to the dealer and they said the computer had put the engine in limp mode because the engine had a misfire. They checked further and found that the engine had not misfired and that it was a computer glitch that had given a false code. They updated the software and MPG returned to normal. Still no updates available for the firmware on the infotainment system.
