convertible sunroof mechanism failed

There have been several problems with this car... AC, steering wheel, driver's door window needed a motor but the convertible top was poorly made and I'll tell you why. Look on ebay or anywhere for a used part to fix the driver's side. There are no used parts but the passenger's side is widely available. It is a defect. So not only is it a defect, but then you go to buy a new one and they only sell them in pairs... you know we only need the one and you get $700 for a little piece of metal. Don't forget that there is labor involved.

And, there is no after market, we can only get OEM. So you make a horrible product, it breaks, and then we end up mortgaging the house to pay for another part that you should have manufactured and designed correctly. The resale on these cars is so low you might as well give them away. That's because of the repairs and all the owners are desperately trying to get rid of them before they break again.
