Ascent Limited Turbo

  • CVT transmission
  • 1,800 miles

Radio sound/volume dead at 1800 miles. Checked online, couple options to reset radio, but nothing worked to get sound back. Dealer inspected, reported amp needed replacement. Parts received the next day, but dealer could not give appointment till following week (5 days later). Sure it was middle of July 4th but come on Subaru! Dropped car at 9AM - was told all day repair, given loaner car. During this time service failure, could not use phone with car - Remember NO SOUND! Could not use maps, no voice commands, all because of bad amp. Very aggravating from a brand new pseudo luxurious car. Subaru needs to improve/ increase dealer service, selling a lot of cars, they cannot keep up with repair schedule. Total days without sound; 8 days.
