Outback Limited 2.5i

  • Automatic transmission
  • 37,500 miles

Dealership unable to fix. They have replaced the radio 3 times! Per the manual, the radio should be compatible with iphone. it is for phone calls only. not for messages. The new 2018 radio is awesome, but the 2016 is not. I have gone in so many times to address that the radio glitches, freezes, and just stops working at times.

They replaced it again this past weekend and now it will not hold satellite radio. Once I turn the car off the satellite radio goes away, so I have to reset it when I turn the car back on.

Outback Premium 2.5i

  • CVT transmission
  • 15,000 miles

Upon starting the car (problem happens randomly) the touchscreen goes blank and none of the controls for the audio work. This includes the knobs on the radio and the buttons on the steering wheel. You have to turn off the car and restart or after a few minutes it eventually unlocks and allows operation

Outback Limited 2.5L H4

  • CVT transmission
  • 3,000 miles

Head unit stopped functioning, radio stopped playing, no selection with keys possible, plays again for 3 minutes after start up then fails. Hoping it's an isolated case, but thought I'd include anyway.
