problem #1

Aug 012018

Outback Limited 3.6L

  • CVT transmission
  • 33,000 miles

33K miles CVT chirps when being shifted to drive or reverse. Started at about 3000 miles but dealer could not replicate it. At 33K we took it to dealer who then did replicate it, Ann Arbor, MI Dunning Subaru. Our Service Advisor Adam was fired while dealing with us which caused some communication problems and time delay. Adam's boss was nice and took care of the problem along with a new SA Jennifer. Our Loaner was filthy. It took me 1 1/2 hours to clean it just so I could sit in the seats and touch the wheel. It looks like they gave us the dealer lunch runner car. NASTY. You can bet I will complain about that to Ms. Dunning.

So now we wait a week to see what the outcome is.
