Outback Limited 2.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

The automatic up/close will take the passenger window UP, then go back down halfway. I have already brought my subaru outback in before, and was told I just needed to clean the window and channel to stop this from happening. I LITERALLY have to clean it every 2 weeks OR less. The guy at the dealership LITERALLY said that is expected, but that it will get better after about 10 YEARS!!! WTF??? Um, no bro. YOU don't sell someone something that WON'T work correctly for 10 freaking years. GET THE F OUT.

Outback Limited 2.5i

  • CVT transmission
  • 8,500 miles

I HAVE HAD THIS TO 3 DIFFERENT DEALERS IN PHOENIX, SURPRISE AND PRESCOTT ARIZONA. THEY

TRIED MANY APPROACHES INCLUDING REBALANCING. AND LUBRICATING. NONE OF THEM WORKED

FOR MORE THAN 2 DAYS AND PROBLEM RETURNS. EVERY TIME I GO IN FOR MAINTENANCE AND OIL

CHANGE, I ASK IF THE FACTORY HAS RESPONDED WITH A FIX AND THEY SAY NO. THEY HAVE GIVEN

ME A COUPON FOR MY TROUBLES BUT STILL NO FIX. I HAVE NEVER OWNED A CAR WHERE I CANNOT

GET SATISFACTION ON THE CAR'S ISSUES. THIS IS MY SECOND SUBARU OUTBACK.

Window goes up 3/4 of the way and stops - and further attempts to close it fail. However, if you hit the window switch very fast it will go up 1/2 " do that enough times and the window will close.
