Takata airbag: This recall was announced in may and Toyota still has not come up with a fix for it -- all they say is to "avoid operating the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat, " which is ridiculous long term. Please tell me what to do to get this replaced

Takata recall. It's been months since they informed of us this issue and there is still no remedy. I was told to avoid people sitting in my passenger seat, I cannot do that indefinitely. I already basically have a lemon sold to me and now there is no fix available.

It has been 5 months since I received letter dad 7/16/16 about passenger seat airbag recall. I have called 4 times, today being the 4th time and still no resolution is done and not even an estimated time when this can be rectified. Very inconvenient. This should not take this long.

Takata recall. We received the recall notice and were told that we would be put on a waiting list for the repair. It has been 4 months and when we called today, were told that they haven't received any parts from Toyota at all and that there are still 8 pages of names ahead of us. Meanwhile, someone usually has to ride in the passenger front seat. Maybe the Toyota company thinks it is just cheaper to ignore the recalls and pay the law suite when someone gets killed.
