Lighting assembly is completely out on vehicle. I can only drive with bright lights on. I have went off the road several times, due to lighting. I have had several checks from Cadillac and was told I need to replace the entire lighting assembly, but is a waste because it will go out again in a couple of months.

Headlights are gone on my 2014 Srx! faded out over time.gone! I cannot see anything without the hi-beams on now. Only 62K miles. Probably started going out way back, I did not realize it was my car, thought it was my own vision which is already poor to begin with. I live in the country so I'm really screwed on these backroads. Dealer replaced cue system under warranty approx two years ago or less, now its going out again. Mirrors and seat and radio and climate all bleeping out on me. Service mgr. Brett@ sam taylor Cadillac in ft. Walton beach fl. Says this is very common to have to replace it at least twice. Perhaps more" he stated to me that he submitted my issues to GM twice to no avail. Now the dealership has been sold and new people won't even return my calls. It's a very long drive for me to go to them and argue this case as we are still dealing with hurricane michael issues here on our toll bridges and highways, waterways etc. Traffic problems all over. Hardships on folks trying to go to work.re-routings. But I ask you who is the most likely next purchaser of a new Cadillac vehicle? me, the person who already owns one.!!! trade in for a newer model" no thanks, think I'll just pass seeming how I'm a nobody. Apparently they could care less about their next customer, (GM Corp I'm speaking to you). Why would you lose buyers over such a bizarre but simple fix? before this I had the Tahoe. Now maybe Nissan or infinity is calling my name. Shame.

Just purchase 2014 caddilac Srx. While driving at night low beam headlights have indequate illumination and beam pattern. Difficult to clearly see any obstructions in the road, people or cars on the shoulder of the road without having to have the bright lights selected. No long term fix identified by Cadillac. All they want to do is replace the bulbs with the same ineffective oem. Unsafe to drive at night unless one is extremely careful.

Headlights are dim when on low beam causing a dangerous situation when driving at night. Cadillac dealer will charge $1500 to change out entire headlight assembly. Lights are too bright to drive around with high beams on all the time.

Concern: Extremely dim headlights on my Cadillac Srx, so dim and hazardous that I do not drive at night and not in rain. I have since learned of pending lawsuits over the same issue. This is a huge safety issue. This is shameful of Cadillac - I have a 4 year old vehicle with 55K miles that I can longer safely drive at night. My high beam headlights still function properly but I cannot drive all the time with my high beams - it would not be safe for oncoming traffic. Cadillac is doing nothing to correct this problem. They have offered a costly repair, but I have been cautioned that the repair work will not correct the problem.a true repair is needed and Cadillac needs a recall. Very dangerous!

Low beam headlights do not project sufficient light to see at night. Bulbs replaced, but problem persists. Now reading online that many 2011-2015 Srx owners are experiencing the same issue causing night visibility issues that are a safety concern.

2014 Cadillac Srx low-beam headlights were growing progressively dimmer and now the vehicle is very unsafe to drive in low light situations. This occured over the course of a few weeks and the vehicle was approximately 4.5 years old at the time of near total darkness. Although the hi-beams still work fine, it is unsafe to subject oncoming traffic to constant use of hi-beams, yet without them the Srx driver is unable to see even the lines on the road. So very dangerous and this Cadillac owner is terrified to drive this vehicle at night, for fear of harming herself or others.

Concern: Extremely dim headlights on our Cadillac Srx, so dim and hazardous that we choose to not drive at night and never in rain. We have replaced the bulbs with strong new bulbs from sylvania (gold series) however there is no improvement. We have been to Cadillac dealership, they want to charge 1,900 dollars to replace both faulty headlight assemblies with the same faulty headlight assembly and charge us for it. Keep in mind this is a barely 4 yr old Cadillac that you cant even drive at night for fear of safety. My cellphone is brighter that the headlights, we have done the comparison. We have since learned of pending lawsuits over the same issue, accidents, etc, ...it is as much of a safety hazard as I can think of. A 4 yr old Cadillac that you cant drive at night due to the faulty, well documented design flaws in the light. Ridiculous. The Srx without question a danger to drive at dusk, dark, or rain.

The problem started a year ago with the lights becoming severely dim and unsafe at night. In the past two months the veu system has taken a mind of its own and usually does not work from the center console. Now the car does not work at all. It's like it's shorted out the whole electrical system. Worst car ever!!! I will never buy a Cadillac ever again.

The low beam headlights on this car are horrible, I have a very hard time seeing at night due to the lack of light from the headlights. I avoid driving this car at night due to the difficulty in seeing due to the lights. I can see fine with my other car. Sometimes I am forced to use my high beams when I should use my low beams due to not being able to see. It is such a hazard and safety issue, I can't believe this car is a Cadillac. I have not had an injury or damage yet.

Headlights are very dim when on low beam, it is a danger to the driver and other vehicles on the road. Due to the lights being so dim you can not see anything while driving at night unless the lights are on high beam which is dangerous for other vehicles on the road. I almost hit a deer due to the lights being dim. It is almost like no lights are on at all.

Headlights on these cars are extremly dim on lowbeam to the point of being dangerous to the driver and other vehicles on the road. This is a known problem with Cadillac models 2012 thru 2017. Was told by the dealership Cadillac knows about it but there is no fix. Also a problem with the cue system locking up.

July 4, 2018 I was involved in a rear end collision where I ran into the back of a vehicle around 9:45pm. It bothered me that I did not see the car until I was right on her. All of a sudden I saw her car and she was moving not standing still. It dawned on me that I could not see her car or judge the distance from her because my headlights are not bright enough to see what is in front of me. I caused my insurance rates to go up. I have not been in a vehicle accident since the late 1970S. I am a good driver and was not distracted in any way. Over $3,000 worth damage was done to my car and I'm not sure how much to the vehicle I hit. Cadillac needs to do something about the headlights before there is a serious accident. I have to drive with my high beams. I was driving on a two way bridge and both cars were in motion.

July 4, 2018 I hit the rear of another vehicle and it bothered me because I was alert paying attention and all of a sudden the car was in front of me. It bothered me that I hit the car and could not figure out why? now I know, I could not see the car because my headlights are not working properly. My car insurance went up because it cost close to $4,000 to make the repairs. I would like for Cadillac to recall the headlights on these vehicles. They are unsafe for night driving. I am considering the advice of an attorney not that I know the lights were the issue and not me. I was not speeding in the accident and the car is front of me was just going slow, not in a stopped position. My headlights were not bright enough that I could judge the distance from the rear of the vehicle.

The headlights on low beam have gotten so bad it is not safe to drive with the low beams in at all. After a bulb change to the brights best sylvania recommened they are not any better at all. If we drive at night we will have to leave our high beams on so we drive very little at night because of the headlights
