There is a serious electrical glitch that's in the computer, that causes the car to perform poorly at a slow speed, which cases the steering to become very hard to turn, and maintain lanes while driving. All lights, warnings, and gauges fluctuate back and forth, while the bell inide the car when stared keeps chiming.

Ignition recall, the switch has been replaced twice. I am still having issues when leaving key in ignition in the off position, all dash lights flash and a lot of clicking noise and will all lock doors. The service air bag light will come on, when you turn it off and restart car it goes out. I took it to the dealership and was told that they could not find the switch defective and they would not replace it, or check into the matter with out charging me a service fee of several hundred dollars. I travel long distances, and concerned about my safety, and other that could be involved in an accident.

The above vehicle has been in for repairs 6-7times for intermit anti-theft light coming on while driving and a recall for anti-theft/air bag malfunctions. Intermittingly the car will also not recognize the key(s) and will not start. My concern for safety is when the car begins to ding while I'm driving and then the anti-theft light comes on it will also decide to stall because it does not recognize the key and thinks it's being stolen. (it has not done that yet, but it is a fear). I had the Chevy 2014 anti-theft/airbag recall Aug 2014. In Dec 2014 my air bag light came on with a warning to repair. In Jan 2015 the anti-theft light came on 2 times. Walker jones Chevy of waycross, ga detected no code for air bag. The anti-theft code revealed unrecognized key but no code to repair (Jan.2015) the light has come on 5 times and not started on one occasion, since the recall repair. I am told by mechanics that the light must be on for them to retrieve a repair code. However, when the car is shut off the light goes off. The anti-theft light problem can wait months before surfacing again. I believe it could be dangerous to drive because of past cases of other similar cars with anti-theft/airbag issues. I have contacted Chevy corporation but since I did not purchase a bumper to bumper warranty and no repair codes come up to show how to fix the problem its not their responsibility.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from a Chevy dealership and within a couple of months the driver side door stopped opening from the inside. Therefore we have to open the door from the outside to get out or crawl to the passenger door to get out. This is a safety hazard for anyone who gets in a car accident, or anyone having a car issue. I have talked to many people I know who have the same car and they have the same problem. I would get it fixed but we don't have the money. My husband would fix it but then it would void my warranty. Also had my car brought for ignition recall got it fixed and told them about my air bag light coming on and off. This is also a major problem and needs to get fixed, I have 3 children and they wont tell me which one is faulty if any. As well no money to fix it. $100 deductible every time to just check is not very reasonable.

I was driving home with my 2 children in my vehicle and hit and slight bump in the road and the service air bag notification came on. This startled me and I became very scared because I have never had a vehicle say service air bag" I am very concerned about this issue that if I am in an accident god forbid that the airbags will not deploy if needed I took my vehicle in to be serviced for ignition recall today after waiting almost 5 months for part and informed service technician about what had occurred and the response I received was" we can do a diagnostic on the issue for $89" " I do not feel that I should have to pay to have this defect to researched and fixed due to danger that this poses to the safety of myself and my children. I am requesting that authorization be given to have the issue with the service air bag light to be researched and repaired at no charge due to all the inconvenience these issues are causing me and the time that I have to be without a vehicle in order to have necessary repairs completed so that my family and I can have a safe vehicle. Also, the driver side door handle just broke upon opening door and I am requesting assistance with discount to have this part replaced. I am a single parent and I have limited income and cannot afford to keep making repairs on the vehicle due to faulty or defective parts. Please assist me as soon as possible. My car continues to shake as do most HHR's GM knows there is a stability issue an has refused to properly address this dangerous issue. My airbag light has come on. The back driver side door handle does not open from the inside or out and my seat belt and back floor board stays damp making the structure of the vehicle dangerous and my seatbelt unsafe. GM executive response is that not all VIN numbers fal into the service bulletins. These cares need to be immediately investigated and taken off the market. The bolt covers in the back seats fall off at a touch and cannot be reattached. They dig into legs. An accident would present a stupid impalement threat. Why are they there. This is a dangerous car. GM states my care did not appear to them until 49,000 miles. I bought it at 19,000 miles. There are lies every where. There are crooked salesman and GM is still on the scam. Owners need a legal or congressional advocate for the cars we are stuck with that are dangerous and seriously devalued. They have had allot of training in dealing with owners with issues. We need likewise representation. My care is an accident waiting to happen. I have a frozen shoulder from holding it in the road for 3 years. It is a blood trap that you cannot see out of. It is damp, shaking, difficult to control and unpredictable. I could ot sel it in good conscience. Who would buy it any way" what happened to the legal order that required them to report dangerous problems in 5 days or face penalties" they are way over the mark on this one. Just look at my car.
