The contact owns a 2016 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that on several occasions, the trunk unlatched and opened independently. As a result, the battery was drained. The contact was concerned that the failure could happen while driving. No warning light illuminated. The local bonner Chevrolet dealer was contact at 694 Wyoming ave, kingston, pa 18704, phone number: (570) 763-9906 where the failure could not be duplicated. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 160.
