The contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Impala. The contact stated that the trunk was closed however, failed to latch securely and opened intermittently without warning. The vehicle was taken to carl black Chevrolet Buick GMC (1110 roberts blvd nw, kennesaw, ga 30144, (770) 424-2200) to be diagnosed however, the mechanic was unable to the duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred several times. The manufacturer was not made aware of he failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,400.
