Takata recall - recall was issued 5/27/16 and Chevrolet dealer in ocala and recall website told me there is no remedy yet. I think since more than 1 1/2 years have passed that this is an excessive period of time to have come up with a remedy when my safety is at risk and does this affect the value of my vehicle for trade-in or resale?

Received notice today from "tk holdings Inc." That takata has filed ch.11 bankrupcy in the us & Mexico. States to contact my local dealership to schedule a free repair. My local dealer hasn't been given direction from General Motors on how to proceed. I haven't had a problem (yet) but how can I know whether I'm driving a vehicle that may have an air bag blow at any time" is the NHTSA going to hold the vehicle manufacturers responsibility for including dangerous/potentially dangerous parts" and General Motors can't even tell me if my vehicle is dangerous and they do not have a resolution for this federal recall.

Takata recall. I own a vehicle that has the takata airbags installed and I have not been notified that GMC will fix my vehicle. GMC has not taken action on this recall, they filed a petition of inconsequentiality. Many manufacturers have issued recalls for the takata airbag inflators and fixed the affected cars. GMC needs to fix these airbags to prevent further injury.
