The headlights will cut out as im driving.. sometimes one side first then both.. or both St the same time.. as im driving the air bag light comes on and off on its own my TPMS light will come on and some days it won't show the psi in the tire on the dash

Air bag warning light goes off and on, stayed steady last week and a half. Took to dealer because my mechanic said there had been a manufacturer defect, have read numerous reports from other 2015 owners and it is still not handled by the manufacturer. Need it fixed for inspection and now I am going to have to pay. I heard others have had the same happen and then had another issue 3 months out. I'm not even done paying for this car.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to brenham Chrysler Jeep Dodge (located at 1880 highway 290 w, brenham tx 77833, 979-212-8005) where it was diagnosed that the sensor in one of the seats needed to be replaced. The specific seat could not be confirmed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred approximately a week later. The contact returned the vehicle to the dealer and was informed that they replaced the air bag. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator remained illuminated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to NHTSA to file a complaint. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

Check engine light came on. Had vehicle check and got a code. U1504 implausible message data length received from steering angle sensor. Airbag clockspring needs to be replace because airbad may not doploy during an accident. Was told to contact the dealership to see if there was a recall. There is not at this time. This is a defective part of the saftey system on the car and they do not want to cover it.

Upon starting car' airbag light may or may not be on. Light turns on and off without warning and has been ongoing. Seems to be rough idle' when I place the car in gear it jerks. During normal driving the car stalls causing a safety concern for rear end impact while airbag light may be on that may cause injury or death. This matter should be investigated and corrective measures taken. After reading testimonials about other 2015 Chrysler 200 owners' there obviously is a pattern with safety concerns.

Takata recall - airbag warning sensor has been displaying off and on for over a year. When I called the dealership I was told it was wear and tear and it would cost me alot to replace them. The car will lose power (grog out) intermittently causing me to almost stall. And just recently the gas cap warning light came on, along with the engine light. I have tried to have it fixed but was told something was faulty.

"takata recall". to begin, my car wouldn't accelerate, I'd be driving and it would hesitate then take off reallty hard as to even jerk. Did this a couple of times before I took it in to the dealership, one place told me it was nothing wrong, took it to another dealership because it kept stalling as I was on the highway and they said it was an electrical issue. Then another issue occurred with the dash illuminating telling me my airbags alert displaying on my dash (2X)took it back to dealership, though they kept it for a week, they said it was because someone kicked the wiring loose under my passenger seat. No one has ever sat in my back seat. Now my car is in the shop because at first the malfunction light illuminated, drove my car to work, returned to my car and it wouldn't start, had roadside jumpstart it, and it started, went back out later and it wouldn't start, as I tried to get out, my dash lit up and I had to push the button for it to turn off, as I'm walking away, my car literally tries to accelerate on its own, as if I hit my remote start. Had it taken into the dealership. They diagnosed my car as having a faulty climate control module ( first off, I drive 17 miles to and from work everyday, my climate control has been beyond functional, I literally have to turn it off because it gets so cold in my car) and they also said my car stalled because of a bad battery, and said the burning I smelled on the passenger door was a faulty wire and thats why its not functioning properly, which they're repairing, but charging me for it. I have had so many issues with this car since I purchased it. When I'm driving and turn the wheel to the left, it sounds like something is going to break, also my breaks will lock up on me if it's raining and I'll slide ( really)?? this car has been nothing less then a lemon.

I've had multiple issues. First, my car stalled as I was driving down main streets, the first time I took it to the dealership, they said they couldn't find a problem with it. Second dealership I took it to said it was an electrical issue my car was having, kept it for a week, repaired the issue.second time I took it in was because my airbag alert illuminated on the dash, again, they said it was a wiring issue, someone had kicked the wiring loose under the passenger seat.then I had it towed in because it completely stopped on me while I was driving it.now it's in the shop because the malfunction came on, I still attempted to drive it to work, but when I went back out for lunch, it wouldn't start. Roadside jumpstarted it, and it started. Went back out when I got off work and it wouldn't start... however, while I was getting out, the dash lit up as and kept beeping as if the car was running, so I actually had to push the start button to turn it off, weird, right! but then as I'm walking away from the car, it's trying to accelerate on its own, as if I was trying to remote start it. Had it towed to dealership. They're diagnostic explanation for my car - my climate control module doesn't work, and I need a new battery, and yes my door panel had some faulty wires and they're waiting for the parts to repair this, but it's something I have to pay for. When I turn my car to the left, it sounds like something is going to break. My tires slide when it's raining, even though I purchased new ones. Also, my climate control has been beyond functioning. I drive 17 miles to and from work, and I have to turn it down because it's freezing sometimes. It's sad to know I purchased a lemon and that they cannot be honest about their recalls and making sure my safety comes before their negligence., and stop trying to coverup their screwups in manufacturing a total lemon.

The dealer performed unknown repairs that did not correct the failure. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 16V114000 (air bags, seats). The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.

I have been having issues with this car since day 1 and nobody will do anything about it. There are sever recalls listed on the same make year and model and under my VIN there's no recalls yet I'm experiencing the same issues that were recalled on the same year make and model. This does not make since why isn't my car covered for the recalls. I took my car to Chrysler dealer and called cooperate and they said my car isn't covered but there's recalls with the same issues for the same year make and model.
