Airbag light comes

First problem: The car stalls and/or dies while driving. It did this while my daughter was driving and she had to pull over on the highway. I managed to get it started and drive it home but it would not go over 25 mph. The check engine light, the electronic throttle control light, and the traction control light (?) were all on. Second problem: There is a message to service airbag system comes on. I did some research and found other people wit the same problem. On the yellow wire box under the passenger seat, there was a black latch (?) that clicked when I squeezed. The message went away.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator illuminated. In addition, the contact had to reach underneath the dashboard to release the brake and remove the battery cable for 15 minutes in order to start the vehicle. The contact spoke with blackburn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (2135 N frontage road, vicksburg, ms 39180, (601) 636-2766) and was informed to bring in the vehicle for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 84,000.

We are a repair shop reporting this issue.the referenced vehicle arrived with a complaint of the airbag light on.tech found trouble code B0020-13(left side seat deployment squib 1- circuit open)stored in airbag module.tech also found a tsb (see photos)requiring replacement of both front seat complete airbag wiring harnesses with an updated version.the existing condition can cause the side curtain airbags to not deploy in event of a crash.Chrysler has not issued a recall or offered any warranty extension on this known problem that effects 201- 2017 Jeep Cherokee and 2015- 2017 Chrysler 200S.it is our feeling that this known condition presents a serious safety concern to owners of the affected vehicles, and is an extremely costly repair for a safety concern that should not fall on the shoulder of the consumer.

A/C died in 2018; I decided to wait to repair because I thought the vehicle needed freon. After taking the vehicle to the dealership the compressor needs to be replaced. The extended warranty expired. Since the car is computerized I have to pay for updates and electrical issues. Now the seat belt light is on due to two bad harness under the seat. An update was allegedly repaired of the car jumping, the car stills jumps. The vehicle is slowly deteriorating at my expense. Chrysler has stated they will not help me. This vehicle needs to be recalled immediately.

"takata recall". my airbag light sensor on the dash of my vehicle lit up along with the seatbelt light while I was driving by myself with the seatbelt on correctly and nothing sitting in any of the passenger seats. The dash displays a message of "service airbag system". when coming to a stop, the dash displays"driver seatbelt unbuckled" while my seatbelt is buckled. I have checked the vehicle for recalls and none are currently listed with the NHTSA or the dealership under my particular VIN. I have had the vehicle diagnosed at a Chrysler dealership/service center and was notified that the orc ("occupant restraint controller") was non responsive. They (Chrysler service center employee) informed me that I was responsible for the care and maintenance of the safety device that is defective in my vehicle. While sitting in park with the vehicle motor running in a parking lot there were three loud pops in my vehicle and a smelly smoky substance throughout the vehicle. I did not see any air bags visibly deploy.

First day I purchased this vehicle they had to clean a spot out on the passenger side. About 3 months later I took it for an oil change and jerking to landers Dodge off colonel glenn road.they told me it was doing that because it was new and the mobile hadn't been broke in. Never buying a new vehicle before I believe this man.. sometimes when I first starts off it jerk, still does it today. They said my car wasn't a recall I dont9know why not it does what the other jerk all the time. Bouht the car with faulty airbag and passenger seat and upon multiple calls to the dealership nothing had been done and I have been dealing with this since 2016. Now my electric throttle sensor has came on with the transmission sensor. I just want it looked at and fixed. Not everything has happened at once it been a course of three years.

Occupant classification module in the passenger seat fails unexpectedly causing airbag light on and shut down of the entire vehicle airbag system. Similar to the S09/NHTSA 16V-114, but vehicle was not part of that recall campaign.
