The vehicle was towed to cass burch Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram valdosta (4164 N valdosta rd, valdosta, ga 31602, (229) 242-1540) where it was diagnosed that the engine needed replacement. The dealer stated that the VIN was not included in any recalls. The vehicle was currently at the same dealer for repairs. As of today, my new van has been in service 13 of the 15 days I have owned it. Not even 12 hours after bringing my new van home, I noticed some lagging/slight jerk after braking going around 20 mph. The next day, in a neighborhood (thank goodness) after turning right after a stop sign, the check engine light came on with a ding and blinking and I was unable to accelerate. I coasted into my friends driveway to put in park and the van began to shake. This went on a few min and because I was on my way to work, I left the driveway and continued on my way for 10 min. The check engine light came on two more times after that. After four days in service, they finally concluded it was the O2 sensors and replaced all of those. After it was fixed, my husband couldn't even make it home before the check engine light came back on. As of yesterday, computer modules have been updated and the check engine light still comes on and they can't pinpint where the misfire is happening.

Purchased vehicle in August 2017 and have been experiencing problems since then. Grinding noise started to occur around 1000 miles. It would occur intermittently around surface street driving speeds. Sound appeared to come from driver side. Harder grinding noise occurred around 7000 miles intermittently, with it occurring both in cruise control and out of cruise control. Lurching forward when shifting gears also occurred around the 1000 mile mark. Was told this was "normal". but how can it be normal when the vehicle is brand new. Was told the softer grinding noise and louder grinding noise were both normal and result of power steering. However, I wasn't ever steering when the sounds occurred. Lastly, the biggest complaint is that the car stalled twice around 13,000 miles. Both times at the stop-light (thank god) and accelerating. First time the entire electrical component shut off. Placed the car into park and pushed the "start" button again. The second time the car would not accelerated, instead lurched forward as if we were being rear-ended, made a loud clunk noise and just stopped. Both times no accidents occurred thank god. Regardless, the safety of my family should not at this much risk when we purposely bought a brand new vehicle with all safety features.

This van has staled on me 4 separate times now, twice putting me in a very bad area for a head on crash and 1 severe read end crash. I have had the van in the shop multiple times, this last time since 4th of March to current. 1st time I was driving about 30 mph on a main city street, pulled out of side street and the van just stalled. I have no power steering, brakes, nothing, by the time it stopped rolling I was in the oncoming lane of a very busy street. 2nd time I was dead stop at a light, the light changed and they van didnt move, had the pedal to the floor and nothing. 3rd time I was leaving my home, pulled out onto the country road on which we live, started up the hill, lost power again, took me in the oncoming lane, which if a car or truck came around the bend they wouldnt have tiome to stop[, logging truck was roaring up behind me, dont know how he missed me, all the time on his horn. I have talked with Chrysler escalation dept. And they offered to do a buy back.. went to dealership today and what Chrysler offered was 50% now on the buy back and the other 50% when they resale the van? the dealership wont except this offer. Its unethical and unsafe and they want no part of this. Chrysler is aware of the problem with no fix at this time. I am no getting back into that van nor do T I don't want to be their 1st fatality nor do I want to be one of their statics.

Engine shut off while driving at approx. 25mph on a snow covered street in the dark. Lost all power and electrical systems and was stranded in middle of street with traffic all around. Engine restarted after a number of attempts. Vehicle had previously been updated with recall to address this issue in January of 2017 (U01/NHTSA 18V-049). Contacted Chrysler and was told they are aware of the issue and expect another software recall to be ready in April. They requested the vehicle be taken out of service and provided an rental car until update will be made available.

I brought my car into the shop on Friday February 2, because I had experienced on 2 separate occasions a stall. Once when I was turning out of my subdivision, so thankfully at a slow speed, however, the car stalled in the middle of a busy road that I was turning onto. The second time, I was pulling into the gas station, decellerating at about 30mph. I had no idea about this recall, I just knew that I needed to get it fixed, as I have 3 children that ride in my car every day. Once I arrived to the dealer, I was notified that there were 2 recalls for my vehicle, and that they wouldn't be able to fix either of them until April. I have owned the car for less than a year, and am terrified to put my children in this vehicle. Chrysler has informed me there is nothing they can do for me. That they will fix it in 2nd quarter of 2018. This is not ok. 2 saftey recalls and Chrysler is not doing anything about it. I know there must be others out there that are thinking this way as well, and that we can come together to get this taken care of. I will not wait around for my car to crash while I'm driving due to a stall and a recall that is not being fixed for 3-4 months.I am not impressed at all with Chrysler and will make sure they are held accountable.

I purchased my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica touring L on 7/22/2017, everything was going great until mid August. My uconnect radio kept freezing, the engine ticked (stopped itself within a few weeks), the tailgate got stuck half way a few times trying to automatically close. It's just stop midway and I'll have to manually push it shut close. Within later months (beginning around October) my began to jerk back every so often (about twice a week) while driving. It's happened at both high and low speeds so I'm not sure what the problem is. I've took it to the dealership service center multiple times but they don't have a solution or 'fix' for the problem. Since they don't have a solution they won't do anything about it. Recent month (December/January) the jerking is getting worse. It's beginning to jerk almost everyday, sometimes more than three times a day! I've been continuing to pay my lease for a car I'm terrified of driving. I've read so many horror stories of people Pacifica's stalling while on the freeway. I refuse to have my family ride in what suppose to be a safe vehicle. I took the vehicle in for repair last week for the engine stalling and they still don't have a resolution to the fix. The day after I picked up my vehicle, while driving home that night it jerked back while going down a city main street. A few minutes later it gave me this message on the dash (image attached)

Brand new... owned less than a month... 750 miles...we live at the top of a very steep hill with a sharp curve at the bottom. I reversed out of my driveway onto the street and shifted the van into drive. I felt the car go into gear and I started rolling down the hill, as it's a steep incline you pick up speed quickly. As the van gained speed down the hill something felt "wrong" and I suddenly realized I wasn't in full control of the vehicle. With the sharp curve quickly approaching I stomped the brake and brought the van to a stop. I put the van in park at the bottom of the hill and tried understand what was going on. I put the van back in drive, felt it go into gear but when I tried to accelerate nothing happened. Put in it reverse, felt it go into gear and it started to go backwards a little herky jerky but when I pressed the accelerator nothing happened. I had to put it back in park, turn it off and then restart it before it I could drive it back up to my house. I took it to the dealership the next morning. Turns out it was the day after the dealer received notice of the recall. I was told my VIN number fell under the recall, my PCM needed new software and they couldn't do anything until Chrysler provided the fix which wasn't expected until April and they couldn't even sell the ones on the lot. Call Chrysler! I have called Chrysler almost everyday for the last 2 weeks and all I get is a "sorry but I can't do anything, waiting to hear from the regional supervisor". I live in atlanta and if that happened on I-285 (5-6 lanes) you would be roadkill! there is absolutely no way in hell you could stop the car, put it in park, stop the engine and then restart safely. At this point it's a $32K rolling death trap that Chrysler won't/can't deal with... 100% unsafe for my wife and 3 kids!

Back in November 2017, my family and I were driving 70mph on the freeway and the car's dashboard light all turned on and started blinking. The car lost power forcing me to quickly pull over and avoided another car from colliding. The service lights turned on. I turned of the ignition and turned it back on. I took the car to the dealership the following day. They ran a diagnostic test but could not pull any codes of the incident. I saw the recall announced a couple of days ago. I contacted Chrysler and was informed that the fix for this recall will not be available until 2nd quarter of 2018. I do not feel safe driving this car, especially with my kids on board. We purchased this car for its safety rating, now we are driving a death trap.

I was driving in my residential neighborhood, I had slowed down at a corner to let a child on a bike pass me by. When the child passed me, I put my foot on the gas and the car moved and then stopped - everything shut off, the lights, the engine, everything. I am not sure what happened next- people behind me were honking like crazy and I it took me a few seconds to figure out what to do next. I put the car in park and pushed the start/stop button and car started again. There was an error message on the dashboard (the a with an arrow and exclamation point), I drove straight to the dealership and left the car with them. The consumer stated the uconnect stopped working as well as the airbag.

While waiting at a red light my auto stop/start system automatically activated as usual. However, this time when the light turned green the engine did not automatically start. Also, a message instructed me to turn the car off and the put it into park and restart it. After turning the car off and then on the car moved.
