My dealer had to complete battery charging tests within an optimum temperature range. The charger was outside and the temperature was often too cold to complete the test.
Battery failed test and needed to be replaced.
Expensive warranty replacement parts require approval of "Star" technician. I was told there is only one "Star" technician for all of California, which caused additional delay. In the end I contacted Chrysler headquarters and they bought back the vehicle under California lemon law. Report to headquarters if they can't fix it after 1 month to initialize the lemon law buy back procedure.
Replacement took about 3 months.
