Pacifica Hybrid LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 30,000 miles

I just bought a used 2017 Pacifica with 30,000 miles. It jumps, creeks, and the steering wheel makes a low groan/grinding noise. And feels “tight” as if the steering wheel/steering column is attached too tightly to something or rubbing against something. The bumper to bumper warranty expires next month. I took it into my local Chrysler Dealership, on a test drive, he said, "that’s just how these cars do, cars creak and pop and make sounds". Well, back in the day when I had an old car the power steering went out on me while turning, that is a Scary Feeling and DANGEROUS. This along with other problems with the struts/ tire rubbing sounds, makes me feel extremely unsafe. I’d planned to do some traveling with my young grandchildren, now I’m scared. What have I done??

What bothers me the most or at least just as much, is the condescending looks and sighs as they act if they have never heard of such a thing in their lives! And won’t acknowledge it is a problem. It’s apparently an issue on many forums and he could CLEARLY hear what it was doing. One expects if they had a 10 year old car with over 100,000 miles to have issues such as this, but I paid $18,000 for this car with 30,000 miles on it. What a mistake!!!
