Traveling in rush hour traffic when the Chevy Silverado applied his brakes all of a sudden. Tried to change lanes, but couldn't as there was cars present. Hit the Silverado in the middle to drivers side front end. Being the main point of contact. Yet the drivers air bag did not deploy. The car was totaled, as the frame was bent and there was extensive damaged to the front of the vehicle.

On July 5th, 2011 the above mentioned Chrysler van left the highway at a speed of approximately 65 miles an hour and entered a drainage basin. The vehicle came to an abrupt stop when the front of the vehicle came into contact with an earth "berm" that acted as a wall for the drainage basin. The entire front of the vehicle was damaged to a point that it was considered to be a total loss by the insurance company. The radiator was pushed back into the engine compartment and the front bumper was pulled completely under the vehicle. Two tires were flattened and some minor body damage was done to the rear of the vehicle as well. But, not a single air bag deployed during, or after this incident.
