While driving on the highway, , the check engine light came on along with the traction control warning light. Also, the vehicle would not come out of the park position and the brake pedal could not be used to cancel the cruise control. When this was investigated it was found the brake switch/circuit needed to be replaced.

The drive side sliding door locking mechanism gets stuck and will not open, close, or unlock correctly, presenting a safety issue if something were to happen and you could not get out quickly and safely. The only way to get the door working properly is to hold down the manual lock and press the button on the fob to open the door at the same time. It will work fine for a bit but then the same issue will happen. This does not seem to be an isolated incident in reading online reports.

Lock actuator is stuck in the unlock position which means my kids could open the door manual while driving. Door will not lock at all on that door. The van stalls while running and sometimes won't start while the interior lights flicker. While driving, the headlights dim and flicker while the interior lights are normal. Van may or may not start, or shuts off randomly. I have replaced the battery 3 times and changed an alternator. I have noticed that other vans have been recalled for a non start, but for some reason my fan isn't included. Also my uconnect does not work. I bought this Dodge carvan 2017 it has 41700 miles after I start the van and move it about 20 feet it automatically locks the doors and the right side sliding door in the back makes a big noise this has been going on for a week now the back sliding door is stuck and cannot be moved, took it to dealer said it will cost $1100. It I have an accident and my child is trying to get out and cant. I dont know what I will do with my anger if I lose my child!! I was nearly in an accident. My lights didn't work, no turn signals, wipers didn't turn off and doors locked and couldn't unlock them. If we would of been hit, we could not have gotten out of the vehicle. This happened on highway while we were moving.

The sliding back passenger doors do not open with the remotes. They also lock up and cannot be unlocked or even opened manually. This is a huge danger as in the event of an emergency passengers cannot get out of the vehicle.

Driver side rear sliding door got stuck in a locked and closed position rendering the door unable to open while in a stationary position (in park). Mechanism to lock/unlock the door stuck in the middle position unable to be engaged into either a firm locked or locked position. Problem is suspected to be with the door actuator. Passengers are unable to exit the vehicle from this door causing a possible unsafe condition during an emergency.
