Fuel gauge does not indicate the correct amount of fuel, even after filling up tank. Gauge will move from full to empty intermittently. The consumer is concerned that the electric gauge which is located inside the fuel tank is a fire hazard. Nlm

Received recall notice (#97V199000) fuel tank assembly. Vehicle in accident. Insurance totaled vehicle due to orginal owner's refusal to repair. Body shop brought/repaired & sold vehicle. Called dealer. Service manager called zone representative. Was informed will not honor recall; repairs will not be done due to no warranty & salvaged vehicle.
