(reported on)

Ram 1500 5.9L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 64,000 miles

Had to replace the steering gearbox twice, the first one was a refurbished part which was not covered under any kind of warranty from the auto parts store, and broke within 4k miles after it was replaced, the mounting bolts broke, which required me to obtain a whole new steering gearbox. Took it into the shop, and replaced it again, noticing some minor steering problems again after 15k miles of use.
