I just found this site and noticed that there are many others with the same issue as mine. I bought this truck in March of 2007 and the truck was in the show room in mint condition with 39,000 miles. I took it in for inspection and asked them to try and align my front tires, however they told me that the specifications are right on. They may be, but the truck does pull to the right and is wearing the outside of the tire. The garage told me the only way to fix it is replace the ball joints with adjustable ones. The current ones are not adjustable, however are right on according to the specifications listed.

Something needs to be done about this issue. The total cost of replacing both would be well over $600.

My right front wheel has always worn on the outside of the tire really bad, and it has always pulled to the right. I took it to Northglenn Dodge for a front end alignment because I was getting new tires. They drove it and said it still pulled to the right and it would probably still wear the tire. They said that the alignment was "within Chrysler specifications" but if I wanted to align it better that I could buy an offset balljoint to adjust the camber and that I would also have to pay for labor to have it installed. My beef is that if it cannot be adjusted anymore but it still wears the right front tire that it should be a recall or a part that should be paid for by Chrysler. It sounds like Chrysler knows of the problem but just loosened their alignment specifications and came up with a part to fix the problem but still make money.
