Had to change out all ball joints on truck because dodge felt that they didn't need to install grease serts so that one could maintain his or hers vehicle. So instead, dodge gave you a choice; let them fix it for thousands of dollars in labor and parts or do it your self, which is a pain in the rectum and about 900 dollars just for parts and about 90 dollars on an alignment. If you try to fix it yourself save your self a little grief - get yourself a grinder and a good drill, the rivets holding them are tough.

the right lower ball joint had .25 inch of free play
the left lower ball joint had .15 inch of free play
the left upper ball joint had .1 inch of free play.
These joints did not have grease nipples.
I have never driven this truck off-road or over any rough ground.
Ball joints should last 100,000 miles if kept lubricated. I was just lucky they did not break apart while driving. Dodge quality just stinks.

I bought My Car From Venezia Auto Group in E. Palestine Ohio. This thing Is a lemon to the core. I've put 5000.00 into it just to make it road worthy and pass inspection! I should get a refund, but I asked the scum bags to furnish half the cost... They totally blew me off. You name it it went wrong in the first 30 days! Avoid buying a car from scum like this!

This problem of squeaky suspension is continually causing attention from other people. We are continually being ask what the problem is. It seems that other people is as annoyed with the noise as we are. Or, maybe when they look at the body of the truck which is not old they are surprise that it is sounding the way it does. And, because the dash is completely broken up they can look through the windshield and see the switch and wires and are really surprised.
