Also noticed lots of dashboard cracking complaints. I also have a dashboard that is seriously cracked. Paid to replace the part closest to the window, but the dashboard over the instrument panel was not replaced. Asked dealer to replace it three times, and all three times they said none was in stock. One person told me that they don't like replacing them because of the complexity of the job.
