The contact owns a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated while attempting to enter the vehicle through the passenger side door, he noticed that the upper door handle fractured from the door without warning. The dealer advised that the door handle would need to be replaced. There were no recalls for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The current and failure mileages were 55,000.
