Ram 1500 4.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 90,000 miles

lamp out light came on, checked all bulbs and no bulbs blown, replaced all bulbs anyway, checked and found that I had voltage to the sockets, and no parts house can get the part I need and they say its a dealer item, I will pay a ticket for no taillights before I give dodge/Chrysler another penny of my hard earned money.

biggest piece of sh*t I have ever owned. too many problems with this junk.

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram and I've been dealing with taillight issues for some months now. I'm paying for a vehicle that can only be driven in the day time. The dealership i purchased this truck from sent it off to be fix and the lights only worked for a week. After seeing there mechanic couldn't fix the problem they left the job up to me. I had the fuses and bulbs checked. I was told I (MIGHT) need to replace the fuse box which cost $650.00 plus dollars. After researching it seems like this problem is going on with a lot of 2003 Dodge Ram. There should be a recall on this issue. Makes no sense to have to pay out of pocket for a problem a lot of customers are complaining about. Never again will i purchase a Dodge vehicle. The Dodge manufacturers really need to do something about this...SAD SAD SAD!!!
