Ram 1500 Laramie 4.7L V8

I have a dodge Ram 1500 Laramie / SLT / ST Quad Cab 4D 4.7L V8 MPI 2003 has about 92,000 miles on it and I keep having problems with the left indicator light going out constantly dodge wont fix it and wont tell me why it keeps re occuring can anyone tell me why this is happening?
