I have no low beam on the drivers side. I changed the bulb but it wasn't the problem. I am being told that it is in the power distribution module ( fuse box) and it could cost upwards of $5-600 to replace it. It seems that Chrysler knows about this problem but not willing to do any thing about it. If this is the way Chrysler deals with their customers. This is the last Chrysler vehicle I will ever own. Is there a fix for this problem ?

Same as many others. Wipers come on randomly, with the ignition switch on or off. Also cruise control will not engage at times. Once you shut the engine down and restart, it may then work. Had the cruise problem once before, and was caused by a faulty brake light switch, don't know about this time.
I believe ALL these problems are caused by a bad wiring system or switches. If power is getting to the wiper motor with the wiper switch or ignition switch on, it has to be passing thru the switches or bypassing them and making the electrical connection. I'm waiting for it to crank itself and drive away, just kidding, but am glad to see I'm not the only one that has had these electrical problems.

The gremlins in my 04 ram started shortly after purchasing it in 06. The wipers will swipe on their own once or twice on perfectly clear days and the switch turned off and the intermittent positions will swipe three or four times in a row versus a single swipe and pause. The radio will change stations and turn the volume up and down uncommanded and all three passenger door window switches chose when they want to work. From what I have been reading these are common issues that Dodge has choosen to ignore. Might be the last Dodge I own.

Radio died, windshield wipers have a mind of their own, compass readout flashes intermediately and turn signal flashes rapidly from time to time

I special ordered my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab 4x4 LWB in 2004. From the get go, the seat heaters have never worked correctly. The seat heater control module was replaced twice under warranty. Now as the mileage has crept up to 75K, multiple electrical gremlins are coming out. The windshield wipers will randomly come on, I can lock the car with either the keyless entry system or the interior power locks, and come out to my truck unlocked later, the steering wheel radio controls will not respond properly, or at all, the headlights will randomly come on as the vehicle is being started, etc.

Power distribution box on national back order. Dodge knows this is ongoing problem and they do not keep prts available. Always purchased ram trucks. Going to rethink that one!
