(1) Driver's bottom seat cushion has deteriorated and broken down under the area of my left hip (when seated in the truck). Seat fabric has split over area where cushion has broken down. (2) 6-way seat adjuster will only adjust 2 ways now - forward and backward. Will not adjust up, down or tilt. When switches are depressed, there is a clicking noise, but no movement of the seat. I have seen many complaints on the Internet about these same problems involving the 2005 Ram 1500. Also noted many same complaints in other year/model Dodge trucks. Seems like Dodge has a systemic problem going on here. Replacement seat cushion costs approx. $100. Replacement with factory seat cover is over $300 (although the fabric/cover is still being produced according to Quirk Jeep Parts, Braintree, MA, 877-772-7870). I have no estimate of cost to replace the 6-way seat adjuster assembly. I read on the Internet that a new assembly will cost around $500.
