Takata recall having many issues with 2007 Ram 1500 4X4 quad cab. Transmission isn't acting right. Something wrong with driver front wheel assembly, can not pump more than a few cents of fuel at a time when fueling. And just recently I could not get it over 30 miles an hour. Engine did not rev seemed as if not getting fuel.

Cannot add fuel to vehicle tank. Stops after a few seconds. Service department knocked the plastic ball into the tank (thinking this would work, it didn't) that stops gas siphoning. Still cannot fill tank. Truck has 91,000 miles and have always put the same gas (93 octane).

When filling gas tank, gas shoots out the top when full. Happens at every gas station. Recently took vehicle to dealership for this issue and a gascap warning light and service engine light. Service advisor at dealership said the fuel inlet valve was leaking at a weld seam. Cost of repair is $1240. When this occurs about a half gallon of gasoline spews onto the cement which at times in phoenix reaches 120 degrees.plus. Not to mention this could get on me, in my eyes or someone else in the vicinity. This is a huge safety issue and needs to be addressed immediately. After researching this issue I have found that similar vehicles in similar years with the similar engine have had the same issue; such as the 2007 Dodge durango with the 4.7L V-8 engine.

The fuel emissions vent broke off of fuel tank. I can not fill my tank cause gas will spill all over the ground. Engine light comes on and gascap on mileage display. Dodge told me $800 for a new tank. Said that it should not have broke off and it looked as if it has been that way for a while.

2007 Ram 1500 4.7 automatic. 16000 miles. Using auto shut off at gas station, always back splashes. Even back splashes when I manually put the gas in slow when I know it's getting close to full. No way to stop the back splash, and it's not just a small amount that comes out either. This is a continual problem since bought new.

On my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab everytime I fill it with gas it overflows after automatic shutoff on the pump. This results in gas spraying everywhere. This happens each time I fill the tank to the point I no longer feel safe to fill the tank completely.

The recall notice stated that the repair would only take thirty minutes to an hour to complete. The dealer stated that they do not take appointments and would have to keep his vehicle for 3-4 days. The recall notice number was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 580.
