When the vehicle is filled completely with fuel, the engine will die when the vehicle is slowed down to stop of turn.
- Sweet Springs, MO, USA
When fueling the vehicle approximately 10 seconds gas starts shooting out of the gas tank, all over the ground, all over myself, and all over the vehicle. I have been told that it could be a vent issue in the neck of the fueling path. This is a definite safety issue. There have been multiple complaints about this same situation happening in other Dodge vehicles. Could you please contact me to discuss. In my opinion, this should be covered under a recall defect.

When fueling using the pump auto shutoff feature the tank overfills and spits out approximately a pint of fuel that could easily ignite due to any nearby source of ignition. I strongly recommend not using the auto shutoff feature when fueling '08 Dodge pick up trucks.

Fuel spills out of tank every time I put gas in. Does not matter which gas station, type of fuel handle, etc. It always spills out before the automatic shut off on the handle kicks in. This causes fuel to spill on the truck and on the ground. Very dangerous!

Fuel splashing out of filler neck when you fill your tank and the pump kicks off when it is full gas will splash out of the filler neck and down the side of the truck if you stop short and let the gas settle and finish as slow as the pump will pump it is fine.
