We bought the truck 2 months ago. Recently my rig is having a noise that mechanics haven't been able to diagnose for us, so I have to drive my husbands truck now. Normally, the truck isn't driven more than 30 miles in a day, with no freeway driving necessary. Unfortunately, I work 60 miles from home, one way, all highway driving. After the third day of driving his truck I noticed a terrible wobble in the front end going 65 mph or more. I have to slow down to a ridiculous speed to make sure I don't end up in the ditch, as the steering is nearly lost during the shake. I have yet to make the phone call to see what the warranty will cover, we have a $500 deductible, and I think its a bogus deal if we have to pay for a common problem that Dodge seems to have.

My machanic says one tie rod is bad enough not to pass inspection and the other on is going. The dealer ship may not want to replace both. Which means I will be back in another 3000 miles.

2008 Dodge Ram quad cab, only 56,000 miles, no off roading mostly highway miles. Went to mechanic with front end noise, told both outer tie rods and sway bar links need to be replaced. This shouldn't be the case with such low and easy miles.
