On interstate whole hub assembly with tier flew off and it-??s been very hard I just payed for car I worked for and lost it please help

The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving highway speeds, the front passenger wheel completely fractured from the axle. A police report was filed, but no crash occurred. The driver sustained whiplash due to the tire failure. The insurance company towed the vehicle to a yard. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer provided a case number and stated that they would provide a follow-up response to investigate the cause of the wheel fracture. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 10E040000 (wheels) and was uncertain if the failure was related to manufacturer recall number: G02 (front wheel bearings). The contact was waiting on a response from the manufacturer. The failure mileage was not available..... consumer stated the front passenger tire came off the truck without warning, without any warning lights. Photos attached.

It first started as severe shaking whenever I hit a bump, especially on an curve. The truck would hop and shake and become uncontrollable until I slowed. This still happens but now I also get an uncontrollable wobble whenever I drive at highway speed and there is any kind of incline or bend in the road. Only fix is to slow down significantly.. it's dangerous! I've become trained to deal with it but it's certainly unsafe and I always worry that it will happen on a slick road and I won't be able to hold it on the road. I've replaced tires, aligned, balanced, road force balanced and nothing fixes it!

While pulling my rv trailer, I noticed a growling noise and vibration coming from the front of my truck. The closer I got to home the noise got louder. Took to my mechanic and he had to replace left front wheel bearing hub, steering knuckle and alignment. It fixed the problems. Only 45594 miles. Cost $800. Is this a recall for this vehicle" can I be reimbursed for my cost of repairs from Chrysler"

Dodge Ram 2008 quad cab 1500 series. At the time I called into Dodge I had roughly 60 thousand miles on my truck. I contacted Dodge in 2014 and they told me although that was the model and series that was part of a recall that my particular VIN was not eligible for a recall. The problems I had endured were swaying of the truck almost to the extent where the tire felt like it was wobbling and the truck shaking when I excellerated over 50 mphs. It was at that time when I took a road trip for memorial day weekend 2014 when this started getting progressively worse and I pretty much had to drive 40 miles an hour the I75 freeway because the car felt like it was going to flip over when I was excellerating. It was right there after that I contacted Dodge to make a complaint and they told me although I had the year and make of the Ram but my particular VIN was not eligible for any recall. So there after I had to replace my tie rods and the sway bar at my own expense and also replace my tires not too long after that which were new from the dealer when I bought it used in 2011. My biggest fear was the vehicle that was the safest of the 2 my family owns was now a risk to my children, my spouse and I. I also had fellow vacationers in the vehicle with me which witnessed the vehicle shaking obsessively when we were accelerating.

Vibration and bouncing- wobble feeling with loose steering at speeds 55-70, from front wheels through steering wheel. Tires have been re-balanced several times as the possible cause but truck continues to have vibrations in front wheels at speeds 55 or higher. Continual brake noise, rattling sounds at all speeds after brakes have been applied 2-3 times under normal traffic conditions.

Went to check my tire pressures and took valve stem cover off and it snapped the top of the valve stem off even with the top of the valve stem....2 other valve stem covers are also seized on the valve stems on the truck.. called dealer and they informed me that Dodge knows about this problem and they have replaced hundreds of them and the only way to replace them is to put another sensor in for 75 bucks cause they can not put regular valve stems in vehicles that have TPMS sensors in them...they have not heard of any recalls to date nor could I find any online...this is a obvious problem with many Dodge vehicles with this metal valve stem and needs to be corrected.

The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light began flashing indicating an problem with the system. After checking the tire pressure in all four tires and finding them to be normal I went about my driving activities. While approaching a stop light the back passenger side dipped down and I could hear the sound of a flat tiring flopping about. The tire went from perfectly fine to flat instantly. Fortunately I was traveling at a low speed and could stop safely. While changing the tire I noticed the valve was missing. Taking the tire into a local shop the mechanic handed my the TPMS sensor and told me it had fallen in, taking the valve stem with it. The sensor fell in because the retaining nut had corroded and broken off. In April 2013 the front passenger side TPMS nut cracked and caused that tire to slowly go flat. I was traveling on the interstate when the system indicated a tire problem. I pulled off and checked the tire pressure, all normal. I continued on my journey to a state highway. Once going down the highway I started to get some wobble and flat tire sounds. Pulled over and the tire was almost flat. As I was changing this tire the retaining nut broke and the sensor fell into the tire. I experienced two tire problems because of the tire pressure monitoring system sensor nuts were corroded.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics where the technician advised that the aluminum valve stem was corroded. The corrosion caused the fracture and the dealer stated that it would have to be replaced with a rubber valve stem. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 64,000.

2008 Dodge Ram truck 1500 series, 25,000 km problem : aluminum schrader electronic valve stem with the rusted off steel locking nuts that rusts off and then falls inside the tire causing a flat tire at any time and at any speed too whom it may concern date: June 7 / 2011 serial # [xxx] on June 7 / 2011 at about 7:00 pm going West bound on hi way 118 towards bracebridge Ontario I had my first flat tire.while driving at 90 km the trucks low pressure warning light came on and dropped on the rim and I could here the flat tire started slapping the steel rim. On June 9/2011 I took the truck into the bracebridge Chrysler dealership. I talked the service dept.,rep and told her all about the missing valve stem and what had happened. Have tire inspected at Goodyear dealer on the other side of town. The tech told me all about the steel nuts falling off on the aluminum schrader valves that are mounted to the rim.tire was damaged inside from the steel wheel rim when it went flat. Updated schrader valves so this would not happen again, he mentioned that Chrysler will not pay for a new tire but the valve stems would be replaced. With a 2008 Ram truck with 25.000 km on it this is not my problem nor Goodyear but Chrysler. Please let me know on how you are going to per cede. Update : on July 6/2011 I had a new truck tire installed at the above dealer at no charge ( great customer service ) update I called the Chrysler 1-800 hot line what a waist of time you might as well talk to the wall. [xxx] please note : I have 4 new air scharder valve stems installed but they are the same ones that rusted off.I was told at the Chrysler dealer that they do not have a different style for that 2008 truck so they had to put the same problem vales back on. The incident of June 19, 2008. My wife and I were on our way to a soccer match at a local high school when upon hitting a slight dip in the road, my left front wheel sheared from the lug nuts and rolled away, while my truck wheel hub and rotor slammed into the asphalt and grinded 15 feet to a stop. I called power Dodge of valencia, who authorized a tow from lancaster to valencia. My truck was on its way to good hands, I thought. One week later, June 26, 2008, there were no repairs made to the truck yet, and what had originally seemed like a warranty repair issue, now was being faulted to me by the service manager of power Dodge, (the sm). The sm was looking for every avenue to find blame elsewhere except with his company, and with little care for the inconvenience I was being put through without a vehicle. The sm had a wheel expert look at the damage, and what was found, were two lug nuts with apparent stress cracks, which once they gave way left no room the remaining three to hold the wheel fast, thus shearing all the bolts off. It was said that this is sometimes caused by over torquing the bolts during tire rotation or changing of a tire, all services only performed on my truck by power Dodge of valencia. The sm instead blames me for not rotating the tires sooner than eighty five hundred miles, stating that the lugs may have backed off and broken. With all of the said damage caused by the wheel breaking off, my truck is in for it?S regularly scheduled maintenance, which includes tire rotation. If Dodge is not responsible for any of the damage caused by the lug nut failure, then it would stand to reason that my warranty was now voided due to what the smof Dodge claims was failure of the lugs due to not rotating the tires soon enough. But, according to power Dodge of valencia, my warranty is still good. Dodge is accepting no responsibility for lug nuts shearing off while driving which in not normal.
