Ram 1500 Bighorn 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission

So dealer says bring in truck, will cost to tow it and time and happens usually every six months. one time or two times I switch to other key. Nothing happened again for a while until today. So what can I do, don t seem it will get fixed till key won't come out completely? Have extended 10 year warranty, not sure if covered.

Seem to have had bad luck: first switch, no defrost; then two door locks; ac bad, little cooling, I had it fixed in shop, dirty fluid came out, bad charge on it. So don't trust dealers a lot. OK Scott.

Ram 1500 Ram 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34,700 miles

The key stuck into the ignition and I couldn't get it out. I took it to Jim Burke Dodge to have the problem repaired on Monday 11, 2013 for repairs. Its been there already five days and is still at their shop. the service tech told me that they couldn't find a key core for the truck, He told me that part was on back order. I think this problem could have been handled more sooner that what it is taking.
