Ram 1500 Sport 5.7L

Never seen leather seats fall apart like this. Many complaints on the web about it. Seats should have lasted more than 4 years.

Ram 1500 Laramie Hemi

  • Automatic transmission

the truck is just over 2 years old. I maintain it very well and I'm the dope that spent $6000 on a full blown warranty package. The driver side leather seat clearly is warn out and defective. At the Dodge service the guy that puts the cone on your car said someone will get back to me at a later date. After a week, when no one called me back, I called and was told the diagnosis (from the cone guy) was that it is not a defect in the seat. When I asked to escalate the problem to a higher level I was told there was none. That's when I knew I was on my own and could toss the warranty out the window. I will go as far as I can with this and fully intend on being treated with dignity and respect which has not yet happened.
