picked up my brand new truck in Ft.Myers, what a beut she is, my 4th Dodge truck.
Had the radio blasting with that sub woofer, very nice ride. After a few days started our trip to North Carolina, I-75 is such a drag, turned the radio/ipod off for a while just to give it a rest. Then I noticed the whine, wow!!! this is really bad, then it disappeared, then it came back again, just 500 miles on this truck, it was probably here from mile one but didnt notice it as I was playing with the radio/ipod/cd player and didn't notice it. After adjusting the speed I can now simulate it every time, 45,55,65,75, those are the magic numbers, its loud, I checked the transmission temp, oil level etc, all fine, I called a mechanic friend of mine and he said its fine to drive, it will steadily get worse if its the axle. So we continued on our trip to our cabin, after several weeks we get back to Florida now 2000 miles + on the odometer and the noise hasn't got any worse, but really annoying. Now I have to deal with the dealership, now thats another story, you will not believe...if you really want to know drop me an e-mail....
