I drove the truck last on 1-30 and it started and ran great. I tried to start it on 2-4 to go to town and the battery was stone dead. I put a charger on the battery and after a couple of hours on full charge I checked the charger to find it was still charging wide open. I burned my fingers on the charger clamp when I tried to remove it from the battery. I was able to start the truck and determined that nothing had been left on when I last used the truck. I put the charger back on and have it on trickle charge at this time. I will check it in the morning to see if the battery is taking a charge. This truck has 3,300 miles on it and it is the second time it has failed to start. My 1998 Ford truck now has 212,000 miles on it still runs and drives almost as good as when it was new and has never let me down. I can hardly wait to see what the dealer has to say on Monday morning.

Thought my battery was shot. Continual charging did not work so I bought a new 800 amp cold cracking power battery. Checked every other day when not in use and everything was fine. Let vehicle sit for over 4 days and now the battery is completely dead. No GPS hooked up, no lights left on, no accessories left plugged into cigarette lighter and it still drained. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem could be?
